Not constant, but sometimes 2→3 feels firm.
No codes.
Would you do fluid service first, or adaptation reset? Anyone solved similar?

If mileage is unknown or high: fluid first. Then adaptation if needed. Also check mounts — a worn mount can feel like a shift issue.

Good point on mounts. Also test in different modes (comfort vs sport) and note temps; cold vs hot behavior changes diagnosis.
